Day 16

I feel my back release as soon as I get onto the mat. Pressure releasing from the top of my spine.

Belly gurgles. Movement of liquids, I notice a heaviness there, an uncomfortable fullness.

My breath is deep and long, in and out through the nose, into my chest and belly. My body moves with my breath. Rhythmic and satisfying. My breath sounds like waves on the shore. I think about how my body knows how to breathe even when I don’t have anything to do with it.

My thoughts drift in rest, I want that dreamy consciousness but I get lost in a train of thought about a work related call, I bring my awareness back to my body, I feel the pulse of my heart in my belly. Get lost in thought again.

I feel impatience and want the music to finish so I can get up.

My body does that 3-in-1 breath thing and heart beat softens.
