Day 18

Practice today feels like processing and integration.

Moving, emotion arises, tears form in my eyes, and then disappear as quickly as they came.

I play with tension and release, shake my head and let everything soften so weird sounds come out of my mouth. Im moving like a short-circuiting robot, weird and chaotic. I’m making gibberish noises and words, gobbledygook. Releasing through sounds and movement. For a moment I touch the me underneath it all, underneath the coach, the wife, the friend, the daughter. The never-ending me. I slow down and follow the sensations of the resonance of the movement and sounds, it feels amazing. Energy pulsing up through my legs, shoulders, neck, face and arms.

Lying down in rest I feel my middle and upper back pinching and releasing, I stay with this pinch and release as it gets softer and softer. Watching it, like the slow quietening of the sound of a bell or gong, staying with it as it gets quieter and quieter, until it’s gone.
